Countries

Malawi, South Africa, Tanzania, Zambia, Kenya

I work principally on using crop-climate modelling to support integrated analysis, assessing climate change impacts on food systems in sub-Saharan Africa, i.e. the integrated Future Estimator for Emissions and Diets (iFEED)

GCRF-AFRICAP

The GCRF-AFRICAP (Agricultural and Food-system Resilience: Increasing Capacity and Advising Policy) project enhanced the development of climate smart agri-food systems in sub-Saharan Africa.

The work featured four focal countries: Malawi, Tanzania, Zambia and South Africa.

My role in the project was crop-climate modelling, land use and livestock modelling, and stakeholder-driven participatory scenario work.

ClimBeR

My work on the CGIAR’s Initiative on Climate Resilience (ClimBeR) helped deliver science and innovation for transforming food, land, and water systems in the face of climate change.
