I co-lead the Leeds Africa Hub for Data Science and AI, which has co-ordinated collaborative research events between Leeds and African partners.

We have collaborated with the University of Pretoria, Deep Learning Indaba Uganda, Data Science Africa and the African Institute for Mathematical Sciences (AIMS).

Together with these partners we have run international conferences in South Africa and Uganda, fostered new research teams with academics in Leeds and Kenya, and introduced new opportunities for African students to take the University of Leeds online Data Science MSc.
