I have just completed the PhD supervision of two students from sub-Saharan Africa (Ghana and Zambia), and I am still supervising another one (from Rwanda).
With one of my former students, we have published a paper in World Development on corruption and healthcare deprivation in Sub-Saharan Africa.
Also with him we are working on the impact of financial literacy on financial discipline in four sub-Saharan African countries, as well as on the relation between corruption and tax evasion in sub-Saharan Africa (using Afrobarometer data).
With the other recently completed PhD student, we are working on the impact of farm input subsidies on multidimensional poverty in Zambia.
