Profile
I have a broad interest in the African continent where I was raised and educated.
I also worked briefly as a Research Fellow in Molecular Biology, before embarking in roles within the food manufacturing, pharma and financial services sectors.
My areas of expertise include business partnerships, technology transfer research & innovation management.
Recent activity
More recently, I have led the development and support of collaborative projects with academic institutions and businesses from Africa particularly under the Africa Agriculture Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (AAKTP) programme.
I have also participated in knowledge exchange activities led by FoSTA, FSNet-Africa and supported initiatives such as the North-South-South Faculty Exchange Programme whose missions include building capacity in the African HE sectors to drive local economic growth and develop a systems approach to tackling global challenges in critical areas such as agriculture, climate and health.
My network includes academics, research and innovation agencies across several countries.
