Research projects

I was previously the Principal Investigator of a GCRF project (BEFWAM), where I collaborated with partners in Uganda and India to investigate clean cooking solutions using biogas.

I have also served as a Co-Investigator on projects focused on mini grids in Tanzania, Uganda, and Congo Brazzaville.

The Clean Energy Research Alliance (CERA) page has more information about the recent projects.

Partnerships

Over the years, I have worked extensively with partners at Makerere University and the Centre for Research in Energy and Energy Conservation (CREEC).

I currently lead the International Network on Invasive Aquatic Plants (INIAP) in collaboration with colleagues in Uganda.

Additionally, I am developing an FCDO-supported trilateral partnership involving the University of Leeds, IIT Madras in India, the University of Dar es Salaam in Tanzania, and Dedan Kimathi University of Technology (DeCUT) in Kenya.
