Global networks advance wildlife research

Kenyan researchers, supported by colleagues from the University of Leeds sand global partners, are harnessing artificial intelligence and international research networks to protect endangered wildlife. By combining data from camera traps, bioacoustics, and advanced machine learning, the team is enhancing conservation efforts for species such as the Grévy’s zebra, showcasing the power of cross-border collaboration through initiatives like the Leeds-Africa Hub for Data Science and AI.
